Our male vocalist, Steve, has been performing as a cabaret with his multi-tribute show which has become so popular that we are now offering his services as a Solo Rat Pack Singer with backing tracks. Disco Service

The weekend of 26th, 27th and 28th June proved to be the mid-summer 'hot' weekend with two events in Kent and one in West Sussex. It was good to be back at The Blazing Donkey in Sandwich, Kent for a summer ball followed by two great weddings.

Once again our Auto Disco Service proved a huge success at both the weddings. After the band performed it's usual live sets, we ran the disco service through our PA system for the last hour of both Linda & Barry's wedding and Pippa & James' wedding. We have been offering this service for about two years now and it's popularity is ever increasing. It's such a cost effective option for people who want a swing band but know that many of their guests will be expecting a disco. We offer this at a fraction of the price of booking an outside DJ and we use exactly the same professional disco program as they do too!

With the wedding season now in full swing, we're feeling very privileged at being such a huge part of so many couples' special day. This year, more than ever before, we've had such a variety of first dance requests with the Randy Newman song "You've Got A Friend In Me" from Toy Story being this weekend's new song! It's so nice for the band to be asked to perform different songs which are not generally in our repertoire that we thought we'd put a poll on the wedding band page of our website to see what your personal favourites are. Go on, fill in your top choice first dance song!

Simply Swing - Live Public Performance

We're back at the Belvedere Golf & Country Club in Billericay tonight 9th June. Open to the general public, this venue is a great opportunity to see the band before you book us for a private event or just come along for a great night out of music.

It promises to be a really special night with a couple of guests in the band: Simon Bates, an extraordinary saxophone player who replaces Andy on the guitar and drummer Hamish Birchall who will replace Jeff Lardner tonight. Jeff is off to Bath today to perform with the great Van Morrison!

Marbella, Spain

It was great to have the opportunity recently to take our cabaret show to the Black Box Theatre in Marbella, Spain. We were welcomed with open arms, with hospitality second to none. An audience of ex-pats - gosh a lot of Brits live in Marbella! - the show was thoroughly enjoyed by all. A brief but rewarding trip and we hope to return again in the Autumn when the weather has cooled down again.

Back at The Orsett Hall

It was great to see Orsett Hall back in full swing running at full capacity last weekend. After the disastrous fire which destroyed the original building in 2007, it's now rebuilt with all the charm of the older building but with the superb modern facilities of a new build and two great easy get-ins for the band's equipment! As resident pianist at Orsett Hall for several years, it was good to be back with Simply Swing for the entire weekend playing the Whitmore Suite for Stacey and David's wedding on Saturday 2nd May and then for Jill Stone's birthday party on Sunday 3rd May in the Gold Room.

Boreham House Open Day

The band is exhibiting at Boreham House, Main Road, Boreham near Chelmsford, Essex this coming Sunday 5th April. If you are thinking about booking us for your wedding day then this is a great chance to see us play and have a chat about your event.
